IFC Community Service Initiative
Every quarter, IFC monitors every chapter's activity in serving the community. This process benefits the chapters individually, Athens, Ohio University, and the Greek System. Below is the description of the program as well as benefits and penalties associated with it:
Responsibilities
All Fraternities are required to perform a minimum of two (2) hours of community
service for each active member in the chapter. These two hours may not constitute in
affect as a philanthropy event nor Greek Week / Homecoming programming events.
Hours Submission
Final hours must be submitted to the VP Community Service by the 4th Friday of each
new quarter. Submit via OUIFC.com website form or the Community Service
Submission form on the Campus Involvement Center website.
Fines
A fine of five (5) dollars per hour missed will be administered for missing hours.
