IFC Judicial Board

  • As Greeks we hold ourselves to a standard which we must consistently adhere to. Unfortunately, there are times in which these standards are broken, for one reason or another. The Interfraternity Council Judicial Board ensures that all university and council policies are followed. If they are not, the responsible parties are brought before a committee of their Greek peers. The J-Board is composed of the Assistant Director for Greek Life, IFC Graduate Advisor, IFC & WPA Vice Presidents, and a member from every fraternity in the interfraternity council in good standing. Together they form a fact-finding committee, which is used to find out whether policies and regulations are being followed. The J-Board makes sure that sanctions (if any) are solely preventative. If your organization is brought before the Judicial Board, there is no reason to panic - but it must be taken seriously. All J-Board protocols and information should be answered in the subheadings under "judicial board," on the menu. If you have any questions, which are not answered in the subheadings, do not hesitate to contact the Interfraternity Council Vice President Scott Leaman at sleaman@pktbeta.com
