2010 IFC SPRING RECRUITMENT INFORMATION
GREEKS, Fraternity Spring Recruitment of 2010 will be one of much excitement and change. IFC will be experimenting with new recruiting methods, and a new overall recruitment process. For those who don't know, there will no longer be a Formal or Informal week of recruitment. IFC chapters are allowed to bid 24/7/365 days a year, the only rule being that extended bids must be reported within 48 hours to IFC (Bids extended over the Summer/Winter Intersession/Spring Break, must be reported within 48 hours of returning to campus).
While it will be up to the individual chapters to recruit and provide their own new members, IFC will still be active in promoting Greek Life as a whole, and educating non-Greeks in what Ohio University's Greek Community has to offer. IFC will continue to plan and host events encouraging potential members and Fraternities alike to attend. Most importantly, IFC's main goal in 2010 will be dedicated to making Greek Life more of a necessity than an option for potential members. But we need your help!
In doing so IFC strongly encourages all members of all Fraternities to participate in eachothers philanthropy events, and any other activities open to the rest of the Greek Community. IFC hopes to build a better sense of brotherhood not only within our own chapters, but throughout our campus as well. Why? Well...why not? So Get Motivated. Get Excited. Get Active.
Joseph Klocke Vice President of Recruitment IFC
